Weird pumpkin

I saw this at the grocery store and I thought it was so weird. I had no idea that a pumpkin could be that weird colour. It was like a grey light blue.

RaKu!!

Some friends from work are into Raku and I got to see the process on the 22nd of February. My mom and I got to paint beads that had already been fired once then we got to see them go through the process of getting fired again. I found this page: Raku on Wiki.

Here are our beautifully painted beads!

This is a rack one of them made to fire the beads

Firing with propane! After it is done firing they put the stuff in a garbage can filled with newspaper. While the pottery is in the garbage can they put wet towels over it to prevent the fire department from being called.

Our beads!

I am very thankful they let my mom and I keep the beads! After they are all cooled off we are supposed to scrub them to make them look pretty. I have yet to do that though. As soon as I do I will post a picture.

More Raku that is done firing...off to the garbage can!

Another round being prepared for firing.

A very interesting pot that just got done with the firing and garbage can process.

Yet another piece. I think this is awesome and it reminds me of Edvard Munch's "The Scream"

Here is a table that was inside the studio that I thought was awesome. I don't think the table and the skull part really go together. I don't remember if they were one unit or not. I think the skull part would look awesome hanging on the wall. It reminded me of the "Day of the Dead" style skulls/skeletons.

Finally completed my Stereophonics photo album!

Wonder Ballroom

My weather videos with my new digital camera

This was right after a really fast and hard hailstorm. It created a river in our apartment complex.

This is looking down from my balcony. All of that is hail!!

M*A*S*H Mistakes

I have been watching a lot of MASH lately because I recently bought this with my mom for my birthday.

I have taken some screen captures using my DVDrom drive and here are the very obvious mistakes I have caught so far:

"Depressing News" Season Nine

It is so obvious!!! How did anyone not notice? Maybe Alan Alda wore them all the time when they were not filming so no one thought twice about them. You'd think he would wear something less obvious just in case he was caught but apparently not. They look like they are Converse which are similar to these ones:
It says these are steel toed from 1975. The Converse logo on Alan Alda's though seem to be all white and his seem to be dark blue mixed with a lighter blue. This picture was taken from WorkingPerson.

"The Yalu Brick Road" Season Eight

This is where you can see the shadow of the boom mic in the lower right corner of all these shots. During the episode you can see it move around so these screen captures don't do it justice.

"Fallen Idol" Season Six

Gary Burghoff's left hand. This isn't a mistake since Gary Burghoff was born this way but sometimes he didn't seem to hide it at all. Of course I never noticed it when I was younger watching the reruns. I never even knew about his hand until much later.
